The Farmers market International parade.

i wrote about my favourite markets in bremen some time ago. (list of all bremen markets)

the findorff-market is now the biggest market in bremen. years ago, when i was a kid, we had a real farmers market on the domshof, with live chicken and rabbits being sold there. we used to buy rabbits and brought them to my grandaunts country home for her to fatten them for christmas dinner. but now the domshof market is only interesting on saturdays, because you can buy a lot of (expensive) specialities. so, during the week, i prefer the findorff market. it's open on tuesday, thursday and saturday and offers everything you need. my favourites are:

• lammers. they have the best sausage around, air-dried mettwurst (which is something like german salami), liverwurst and everything you need for a healthy breakfast or "vesper", including excellent eggs and if you order in advance, you can also get very good soup chicken.
• www.steinofenbackstube.de the best organic bread!
• the turkish grandfather he sells stuff he grows in his small garden (it's called parzelle here), like portulak, rucola, onions, salad and zucchini and is really cheap!

there is lots more, organic meat (neuland) and cheeses (nussbaum), very good potatoes (gerken) and the mustard guy and flowers, simply everything you need for a good day of home cookery.

nearby is the small shop of www.vivolovin.de, they sell the best organic wines around.

prinz henrik von daenemark bekennt sich zum hundeessen. sehr interessant. das menschen hundefleisch essen, auch in europa, ist ja nix neues, aber es ist doch eher selten, das jemand das auch zugibt.

K.I.Z.: Eigentlich benutzen wir Einkaufswagen. Die drehen wir dann um und schmeißen die Kohle einfach drunter. Ansonsten nur Salz.

Redaktion: Comics, Videofilme, Spiele? Euro8000: Ich hasse das alles. Ich lese lieber Brecht. Maxim: Ich lese Nietzsche und Kochbücher von Paul Bocuse. Mein Lieblingsrezept ist Hase nach Senatorenart. Da wird der Hase über Stunden mit seinem eigenen Blut übergossen, bis er schokoladenbraun ist und dann das Fleisch so zart, dass man es mit dem Löffel essen kann. Der sollte auf jeden Fall mal ein Videospiel rausbringen.

immer nur bratschengeplaenkel und inbissmuzak ist ja langweilig, das ist der echte shit!
